Description
These tea cups come as a set four, each with a different glaze and colour pattern. This isn’t necessarily traditional within Japanese culture but my thought was one of individualism and a reflection of the preferences of the tea drinker. These handleless cups are intimate in nature. Wrapping both hands around the cup and bringing the tea up to your lips in this way provides comfort and presence of mind. You can feel the tea’s warming glow in your hands before it touches your lips. As within the tradition of Japanese tea drinking culture, these cups are made of stoneware which is thicker and non-porous and allows the holder to feel the warmth but not the heat.

I ship to all corners of the globe. Free shipping within Alberta and B.C. and shipping costs to other parts of Canada and the world are according to real-time rates from Canada Post.
Shipping time will take place within 3 - 5 business days from your purchase date.
Refund Policy
Full refunds less the shipping costs are given for art that you purchase directly from my store. If you requested something special or custom you may be entitled to a refund if it is something I could sell to someone else. If this is not the case then no refund will be given.
Return Policy
Returns can be initiated within 7 days upon receipt of your purchase by replying to your purchase email with your request, or if you are a registered customer then you can use the support function in the orders tab. The refund will take place once the artwork has been received in good order by me so it is important to send it back in the original packaging material. Be aware that return shipping is at your expense.
